LEGAL ASSISTANT AND LAW CLERK
Margaret emigrated to Canada in the early 1980s. After arrival she continued her education at the Ryerson College, taking courses in Law Administration while gaining practical experience by volunteering at a private legal aid clinic which provided free access to legal advice to new immigrants and other residents of Toronto. Margaret utilized her fluent knowledge of Polish language by helping newly arrived immigrants to obtain housing, jobs and ensuring that they received all the help they were entitled to from the provincial and federal governments.
Margaret worked for 20 years at a prestigious personal injury law firm in Toronto working with a Senior Partner. She enjoyed her role and assisted in working with injured clients by handling their Accident Benefits claims, guiding them through the steps involved in litigation and ensuring that their awards reflected the severity of their injuries by providing their lawyer with clerical support.
Margaret brings to UL Law her experience and determination to provide client-focused legal support and works tirelessly to make sure our clients understand the claims process and are happy with the legal help the firm provides. Margaret takes great satisfaction in helping injured people and their families throughout the difficult process of personal injury litigation.
When not working, Margaret enjoys spending time with her family, reading, cooking and looking after her cat, Andzia.
