Maxine attended the dual JD program and received her Canadian and American Juris Doctor degrees from both the University of Windsor Law and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. Prior to law school, Maxine obtained her Bachelor of Commerce from the Ted Rogers School of Business Management at Ryerson University, with a double major in Business Law and Human Resources Management. She completed her articles at Gartner & Associates Animal Law, where she passionately fought to protect and enhance the legal rights of animals.
Maxine is a tenacious advocate for victims and takes a highly individualized approach to ensure that each client gets the compensation and justice they deserve. Her focus is to empower people in difficult situations in order to move forward.
In her spare time, Maxine enjoys plant-based cooking, travelling, reading a good book and spending time with her family, friends and adopted black cat.
