Amelio comes to UL Law having previously practiced in commercial litigation and insurance defence with a small firm in Toronto, and a plaintiff personal injury boutique firm in Brampton. Before being called to the bar in 2013, he attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Michigan on a full honours scholarship, during which time he spent a summer with the Department of Natural Resources & Environment and clerked with an administrative law judge. In addition to sound, strategic legal advice, Amelio always provides his clients with a sympathetic ear. He lives in the beautiful Town of Halton Hills with his loving wife and two boisterous dogs.
